Easy to clean. My husband takes them to work and they lie around all day after lunch. I'm afraid to clean them after they sit. I can actually put my hand in this sponge and it cleans up easily. I'm not sure if you should wash in the dishwasher, but I do. It's a good price and I like the carrying handle. My husband didn't mention whether or not he keeps his food warm.

I don't like the fact that I have to hand wash this, but it cleans up so easily I'm less concerned than I expected. I pour boiling water into it while cooking hot dishes. I dry it and add nuggets or pasta to my son's lunch and it's still warm by lunchtime. It worked exactly how I needed it. It also looks beautiful. It won't fit in his lunch bag, but he doesn't mind. I'm glad I bought it.

For parents whose kids love macaroni and cheese for lunch even in the summer heat, this is a great container. The lid is easy to screw on and off for my 8 and 5 year olds. Another advantage of the wide-mouth lid is that it is easy to clean and leaves no food residue when hand washed. I was skeptical because of the price and have already bought two and will be returning for two more later this school year.

When my daughter eats lunch at school, her food is neither hot nor cold, depending on what we put in the glass. To keep their melon cold, I usually put them in the freezer overnight, but the cold doesn't last more than 2 hours. For her nuggets, I usually boil hot water and pour it into a glass to heat, but my daughter complained that it gets very cold at lunchtime. I can't go back now, so I understand.
