Easy to work with / light / sharp and effective!

These scissors are great. I use them regularly to cut my hair and they always do a great job. I've bought them before but had to order them again because I lost them after a few years of wearing them. That's a great price. Fits well in the hand, lies perfectly in the fingers and has a good grip. They are sharp and require little effort to get the job done. Highly recommended. IS THAT THESE WERE BETTER BEFORE

I bought these to replace a pair I had (also bought from Revain) that worked fine for years until I accidentally broke them (my fault) . I used my old pair to trim my spiky beard hair and they worked great. But this spare pair sucks! They barely cut through individual hairs, often requiring multiple attempts or failing completely, which I notice when they painfully tug at my hair while trying to pry the scissors out of my face. I've already tried tightening the screw but it was as tight as it…

-1000 stars: hair care

Let me say up front that I never leave a bad review and if I don't like something I won't but I can't with it. Those "scissors" are just awful. You have a job, a job! The ones I received could not cut fine hair. They caused pain just by bending the hair and when they cut it it was a complete mess. The blades are not sharp, they bend and pull the hair, and tightening the screw does not work. Please don't buy them to cut your hair. Go to the salon or order professional ones. This is the worst…

Good scissors for short cuts or trimming

I bought these scissors to trim at home and I'm a little sorry I don't have a larger pair. They fit me, but it took a little longer for my daughter with lots of hair. They still work great and are still sharp after many cuts so I'm happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not the best

Not like the old Goody scissors

I got these because I had another Goody scissors that I loved and needed a second one. These scissors were a big disappointment. She cuts badly, so she pulls her hair out. The blades are not very sharp and do not slide over each other. It's also uncomfortable to hold, like the other Goody shears we have. Can't recommend it.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Can hurt

Great scissors for cutting, inexpensive!

I have dog grooming scissors that cost $100 (I could afford them back then!) and these scissors cut pretty well! They are easy to hold, easy to use and lightweight. In fact, this is the second pair I've bought to carry in my ambulance holdall.

Pros
  • Complete Set
Cons
  • Factor Set

Uncertainty: Hair care

I had the same as at the institute. Twelve years later I got a new pair because the old ones had completely lost their sharpness. This pair is not misaligned and constantly pinches the hair, which is then pulled out. By the time I realized this, it was too late to return them. A barber in quarantine can't do much. I'm not sure if I got the leech the first time or the second time.

Pros
  • Many positive emotions
Cons
  • Weight
