is a simple snap ring tool, the ends are like cones that come to someone with sharp ends. The tool itself came in minimal packaging and it comes with a keychain lol which was great. Either way, for the price, this tool is good enough to get you through most home repairs. It should work with most snap rings but mine had a thicker cone and smaller tip so the thicker side was too thick to fit so had to file it down a bit.

I was a bit nervous and didn't dare to order this tool because of the low price. But after the tip broke off on one of the more expensive sets, I grabbed these. When used to remove the Freightliner air dryer purge valve they worked fine. Very surprised and impressed. This $8 tool was a very good deal. The packaging says 'Made in China' and the pliers say 'Japan Pat' (Japanese design), but the quality is well above average. The pliers are heavy, the springs live, and the tip feels stronger than small-headed pliers (many say they break easily). Can't comment on durability as I only received them today, but as soon as I got my hands on them I knew I liked them. Even the plastic handles are soft and smooth.
