Meets my needs Good for activewear

Jacket is light enough to be worn in cool temperate climates. Or I can lay it down for colder conditions. I live in California so it doesn't get too cold here.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Slightly ripped

Good jacket: Ski

I really liked this jacket. It's well made, fits well and is lightweight. The price is nice too. It's not for sub-zero temperatures, but works well in moderate weather. Good hiking jacket. I highly recommend it.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Can't remember

Couldn't be happier

Pleasant warmth, stops wind and drizzle, good up to 40 degrees with a sweater. Surprisingly large pockets added a bonus. Great hood. Great value and style. XL for 5'10' 230lbs. If you're 200 years old or younger, go for the big ones.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Some flaws

Great All Weather Jacket

Great All Weather Jacket. Warm and makes a good raincoat. Although small. I usually wear size XL. I'm 5ft 9,200lbs and originally ordered size XL but it was short on my waist so I gave this to my wife as a raincoat and ordered size XXL and it fits well.

Pros
  • Great Overall Performance
Cons
  • New Competitors

ideal for slightly cool weather

are perfect for 50 degree casual wear with a t-shirt. Add a base coat and you can probably wear it comfortably into your low 40s. There are no vents, so I wouldn't use it for aggressive hiking or skiing, but I didn't take it for that. It's perfect for early Seattle spring with the minor inconvenience of a hood that doesn't stay in place when you're moving fast. but in heavy rain, this hood is quite welcome.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some little things

Nice looking jacket

Today I put on the Gopune jacket for the first time in Wisconsin, the weather is 30 degrees, wind, cold 23. This is not a warm jacket. The temperatures mentioned today are the lower limit if you want to keep warm. Great looking jacket with a slim fit but I was still able to order my normal size. The sleeves have a slightly irritating fleece which makes it uncomfortable to put your hands in the sleeves. Pockets in the right places and zip closure. In general I am satisfied, but I will not wear…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Very thin lining, husky @ size

Nice to find a men's jacket with a real hood. I bought this jacket for my 14 year old son who wears a regular men's size M. The material is very light and there is almost no "fleece". We didn't expect much more, but if you're looking for a thick fleece lining, this jacket isn't for you. Also, the landing is wide but not long. My son is a medium size M but the sleeves barely reach the wrists and the length is barely long enough while another child could fit in there to fill the width. My son is…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some difficulties

A month has passed. So far mostly good.

Overall a good jacket for the money. I've tried MANY soft shell jackets and it ticks a lot. Here are the pros and cons as I see them. ADVANTAGES: 1- Sufficiently waterproof. DWR (Water Resistant Coating) works, but I would recommend a different coating. If you're buying softshells, you probably know you're going to be swapping out waterproof Gore-Tex fabric or something similar for better breathability. Works great when you're not out in the rain. Especially if you burn energy. You might sweat…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine
