new and maybe improved?

I bought these to replace a pair of 5 year old Storm Trooper I which were the best gloves (not mittens) I have ever had. I have small, weak hands when it comes to the cold and these gloves have never let me down. The main use is snowmobiling and while they aren't the best gloves for extended periods at higher speeds (the skin on the face could cover more to fix this) because the wind eventually gets wet and through them, they got me served well for all-around use. They never leak and most…

Even fits MY big meat hooks!

I had a pair of Gordini gloves for about five years and eventually the skin on my fingers and palms became thin. I think this is a testament to the longevity of Gordini products. I was a little hesitant to spend that much on a pair of gloves but when they arrived I was pleasantly surprised. XXL gloves are massive. Big enough for my big paws! They have nice touches like a hand-warmer pocket on the back and quick-release buckles. Glove cuffs pull up my jacket sleeves and keep the snow out. Best…

So far they've been good, took them skiing once, they didn't get sweaty hands like the cheaper pair I've used and they're warm enough. I like the design of the wrist strap. The price is very good for quality gloves so I hope they live up to the hype. I struggled to find the right size. I am a woman with medium sized hands and I searched the internet for a size chart and thought I was medium and they turned out to be small so I bought a large. Too massive. So I ordered M, still too big. Then I…

Excellent ski gloves, very warm and best value for money!

These gloves are awesome! First of all, don't be put off by the horrific photo that comes with them - these gloves are real and look amazing! I have circulation problems in my hands and regularly suffer from cold and sore hands, so I'm looking for great ski gloves. My first choice was the Hestra Army Leather Heliskis (which I've always liked) but they were too bulky with liners and outer gloves! I did a lot of research and found that the Gordini GTX Stormtrooper II gloves consistently get very…

cold fingers on shoes

I LOVE the look and feel of these new gloves and figured that a well known brand and great price would make for a good all purpose glove. However, I found that my fingers felt cold when I wasn't actively skiing. and the weather only fluctuated between 25 and 35 F. I'm sure I could find a warmer glove for half the price. I assume the Gore-Tex material will keep me dry, but I haven't had a chance to test this. And it doesn't matter if the impregnation works if I'm still cold.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great gloves for the price

I bought these gloves for medium to heavy duty ice fishing, snowmobiling and outdoor work. In use for a few months they have performed very well. The gloves are very warm - having been ice fishing for 6 hours in 7 degrees and not once did my fingers get cold. They are also better on the water resistance scale, staying dry even after a brief immersion in water. No need to use hand warmers when snowmobiling in 15-20 degrees for 8 hours. As for landing - YOU ARE SMALL! I usually wear men's gloves…
