Machine Type good for sewing

Tenara is a fantastic thread if you have a rotary sewing machine. In my experience, oscillating sewing machines have problems and tend to skip stitches even on many machine settings.

Pros
  • Nicely
Cons
  • so far so good

We only use TANARA yarn in all our Sunbrella creations.

We use exclusively TANARA threads in all our Sunbrella work. In Hawaii, in a few years, the sun will destroy other Dacron strands. With TENARA we can sew and forget.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Expensive

Strong & Lasts

This was purchased for a work boat canopy to protect from the summer sun. The material was Stamoid Light and is a durable, stable product for use in marine environments. Using Tenara with Stamoid guarantees the best results for a durable awning.

Pros
  • Yarn & Floss
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Tenara TR-92 White

Thread with UV protection! Imagine never having to re-sew your outerwear because of a bad seam again. That is the solution! Good product. Can't say enough about it. I've been using it for a little over a year and have had no problems day in and day out in the hot Southern California sun. This thread is for life. The only thing I would like to say is that the TR-92 is really too thick for a regular sewing machine. Next time I would buy a thinner version.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • High price
