I bought these to replace stock nuts on a Ford car. These nuts are strong, hold up well to impact wrenches and will hopefully last as long as the car. I have replaced all of the OEM nuts on my vehicles with Gorilla brand nuts and wheel locks and have never had a problem with any of them rusting or stretching like the cheap OEMs do.
Fine. They fit well and the wrench looks solidly built for an impact driver. The chrome comes off easily and begins to rust after just a few wheel turns. So if you have a good set of wheels and want to show them off, swap them out for better quality chrome parts. Also note that I didn't use them with a percussion instrument as I only use hand instruments.
Only (4) locks are sold at 2/3 the price, that's a great deal. You get 4 locks and a key with domed heat treated lugs and valve stems. I have non heat treated locks for another car and they seem to rust and crack faster with chrome, for a few bucks more just buy a heat treated kit. Very happy with this set
I don't know why the Revain auto inspector says they don't fit the last model year GTO when they fit and work perfectly to replace the stock nuts with cheap plastic caps that break and fall down. If you are shopping for aftermarket nuts for a 2004-2006 GTO, buy the Gorilla 41933HT with confidence and get rid of your car's embarrassing appearance of missing nut caps or paying $4 for each of these stupid things.
Closure flaps are great. I like the fact that they are essentially non-default, making them almost impossible to remove. So it is very important that you do not lose the key or the registration sheet that comes in the package and allows you to reorder this key. Otherwise, the processing of the studs leaves a lot to be desired. Mine had been on the car for three months and after removing the wheels to fit winter wheels I noticed the ends of the lugs were already rusting. I think at this price…
I decided to spend my extra dollar and buy a set of heat treated nuts. My set arrived exactly as described. The ring nuts definitely look chrome as opposed to the blunt nuts Ford put on my car. The fit is great although it looks a little longer than my standard mum although there isn't much of a difference in sizing. The car came with 19mm nuts and I think they should be 3/4" but the spare wheel wrench worked on my car. Check yours before you need them. Don't forget to order another wheel lock…
