I have a jeep with gray metal rims and bought them to give the jeep a better look. I went out with them and they didn't let me down. The paint is also holding up very well.
Black 14 x 1.50 Bought for 2018 Grand Cherokee. The finish quality of the Gorilla studs is always excellent, and they look a lot better than the solid chrome nuts that factory Jeeps use. Note. The factory socket wrench no longer fits because it is too small for this specific application.
Nicely made black finish has withstood my impact wrench so far. After threading it I decided to drill and rethread it to use as a handle on the end of a lever and although I wasn't very careful with it in my vise the black coating remained completely intact. As far as I can tell they will remain black and mistreated for a long time.
I have a jeep with gray alloy wheels and bought these to give the jeep a better look. I went out with them and they didn't let me down. The paint is also holding up very well.
Bought several packs to match my new black rims. Just note that they come in packs of 4 (not 5 like my balance bike). It didn't matter much as the fifth eyelet on all my wheels, including the spare, is a lock and is purchased separately.
I bought these last four to complete the matching set and they are all fully molded throughout and beautifully finished. The thread is clean cut and engages the lugs very smoothly. Lug nuts have a large cone contact surface that spreads the weight load, which is an advantage for alloy wheels. And black nuts look great on dark rims. I am completely satisfied with Gorilla products.
