Gorilla Ring Nuts: Tires and Wheels

Bought for my Grand Cherokee, the only problem is the description says they are 3/4" when actually they are 13/16", which means you need another wrench to replace them. Not much since I changed all mine, but replacing just a few damaged factory nuts can cause problems if you have a flat.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Zero

Large black nuts

These nuts are very well designed. I use an impact wrench to remove and install them and the finish is strong enough not to chip or scratch. The bulge ensures that they do not fall into the nest. All of them are uniform in color and weight. They changed the look of the wheels a lot and I've already had some feedback on them.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Disappear

So much so that it felt like they were too tight and could slip through.

I ordered these nuts as an exact replacement for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It had chrome nuts on black wheels. It would make a big difference. When I opened the packaging and installed, the protrusions were much thinner than the factory ones. So much so that I felt like they were too narrow and could slip through the wheel. I repackaged them and sent them back.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

You know you get what you pay for

These nuts have been attached to my off-road trailer for over 5 years. Just wanted to show what happens to cheap nuts. Rusted a lot more than I expected. Yes, they still hold up my wheel, but they don't look as bright and shiny as they did when new. But given the low price, I shouldn't be too surprised. Now I'm going to replace them with a more expensive version and hope they take better hold. And yes, my jeep's factory nuts are much older and still look like new.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good

They're Awesome BUT

Get a cheap 3/4" to 13/16" crowbar adapter if you need to keep your branded crowbar. If not, just buy a new pry bar because - and it doesn't really matter - this one omits the usual 1/2" x 3/4" handle threads in favor of a larger acorn-nut shape. I like her so much it's not really a big deal. Gorilla actually sells a great adapter. They don't rip you off either. That's the way it is in life. I will keep browsing and buying from these guys. Your selection and prices are amazing.

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Price Piggy Bank
