My wife has always had trouble with bulky pot holders or gloves. If she then tries to fold the heating pad, she will inevitably burn herself or have no strength to handle pots full of groceries. They protect her well and allow the use of both hands. she loves them!

Essentially, these are very handy (pardon the pun) mini oven mitts that make taking things out of the fryer a lot more convenient and you can cook them easily and evenly wash put them in the dishwasher. I find myself reaching for them a lot more than my large traditional oven mitts. Highly recommended.

I don't understand why it has so many good reviews. But it seemed to me too small and uncomfortable to use since one side is larger and the other is smaller. Even a larger size is not enough. Every time I want to use it I have to make sure I'm wearing it right and it's just too much of a hassle. And not heat resistant either. Not recommended.

That arrived today when I had the biscuits in the oven, opened them and washed them immediately. I pulled out the baking sheet and held it for a minute to see if I felt any heat, NOTHING. I even pulled the grate out of the oven and still nothing. Good product. It's really thick but not as bulky as traditional mittens. I highly recommend.

None of the mini-arms we've had in the past have come close to the heat protection that the Gorilla mini-arms offer. As you can see when comparing the red IP glove to the blue gorilla glove, the IP silicone is very thin while the gorilla silicone is thick and strong. He has a body. We find the Gorilla Mittens to be a lot more comfortable than others and the pots are easy to pick up and hold. While the IP gloves feel roomier, we don't notice any difference when using the Gorilla gloves.

Took me about 10 minutes. Haven't used them yet but they seem great for getting things out of the toaster or small light items. But I've noticed that my dogs have hair everywhere. I tried washing it off (hence the water droplets) and it pinched there. I foresee this becoming a major problem over time. It takes a lot of effort to remove a hair! And one came with a defect (tiny crack and discoloration) as you can see in the photo. Doesn't look like it will affect usage - I hope I'm right.

It took you a while to get used to the new style potholders but once you get used to them you will never go back to the old style. One fact I like is that it's a lot easier to clean when it gets dirty and you have a better grip. on your stove. pots. Especially when it's hard.
