Obstacle fighting in court

Bought for my 10 year old son. The height is great for challenging his jump shot and wide enough to make his post-dribbling moves as difficult as possible without a true defender.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not sure

Great basketball coach!

A good trainer for youth/teens/adults. The combination involves several cones etc. and my children practice handling balls and then shooting. Aside from having to add some weights to the base on windy days, this thing works great!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not bad

Good value but practical item

This product is very useful when you need extra bodies to create obstacles for training and simulated playing situations. I like the base more than the Dman product as it makes the whole product lighter and feels more realistic. I'm still struggling to put it all together, but I am because I'm always in a rush to start training.

Pros
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great investment in team sports

Easy to assemble. Our 10 year old blew him away in no time. We incorporated this into our boys' daily basketball practice and it's been great. We use ours outside with no problems. We don't go outside on very windy days, so that's not a problem for us. Normal days are fine. We have no problem blowing it up. All in all a good product and worth the price.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Not regulated, but possible.

From the picture it looks like it would be easy to adjust but in theory it isn't. If you just change the side of the tent pole you glued on and make a slot for the bungee cord on the side of the tent holder, it could be easily adjusted. The end result is that it can be customized, you just have to manipulate it a bit. Simple common sense would be great when "designing" this.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Exactly as described

This "extra" is exactly as described. The man is strong and easy to set up. (Installed by my 10 year old daughter). Both of my kids are basketball players and they dribbled and moved around that extra man. Practice movements and postures to go around the defender. Even though it's tall and light, it stays in place and won't fall. It's fun having such a big guy in the house, but it's worth it.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Damaged

Excellent portability - good price - good design

A big plus for Xtraman is its portability. I can just take it to the gym in the included bag and set it up in less than 5 minutes. The 3 pieces of steel for the base are of good quality and weight. I could always find a way to add more weight to the base if I wanted to. I like the idea of using tent poles to carry. In addition, the price is lower than other brands. I'll have to see how the mesh body holds up over time. I highly recommend Xtraman for basketball practice. I will buy a second kit…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • So far so good
