This is a great game but I expected one size fits all and got a completely different one. There was no way to choose between the two. That's why we rated it 3 stars. If you want to suggest options, you need a selection button on the side.

I risked this set, but now I'm annoyed that I didn't know this game many years ago. My whole family and extended family love this game. We love it so much we keep it in our family car because people ask me if I drove it all the time. Almost everyone can play this game. I highly recommend this game to everyone! Hours of fun!

I enjoyed this game but be aware that the standard set is heavy! (21lbs) We go to the park to play it so the lighter set is great for us (light at 6lbs). I'd say the standard set is better for backyard play, but too much to lug around. Also, the instructions for the game don't match how most people play, which seems odd for a company that makes such good kit. Made in the USA with good customer support. so highly recommended.

I was looking for a hardwood set with the right pieces but not too expensive. That's it! I am very happy with it. The only thing I noticed after building it was that I was missing two pins around the perimeter. I had 4, which was enough to mark the outside corners, but I needed two more to mark the center line where the king sits and throw you over. I bought a set of kubbs made of cheap wood before and played 20-30 of them with them. This new set looks heavier and survived two tournaments I organized with friends. The design hasn't faded or scratched (too much) since I've played, and the rulebook describes some of the game's nuances that my friends and I didn't notice. I have never heard. So many people have complained about batons being too light, changing course in the wind, or not knocking Cubbs over.
