That sucks. It measures 0.050, not 0.062. It doesn't even look like Kydex, it looks more rubbery. In fact, it starts to melt at 220 degrees. I only use Kydex for my sheaths. I had to stop when it felt wrong, out of the package. Now I'm late shipping.

A few other reviewers had the same issue. I think it might not be Kydex. it is softer than Kydex at room temperature and melts at a lower temperature. I usually do 350f for Kydex, this one is heavy in a puddle at 350f. It also doesn't have the same smell or melting strength, Kydex stinks in the oven, it has a very faint smell.

Do not buy. Read all the one star reviews here. You are all right. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before ordering. I was in a hurry and didn't think I needed to read the Kydex sheet reviews. It's Kydex only, yes. No, this is not a Kydex at all. This is cheap, flimsy junk. It will NOT plate like the real Kydex. When heated, it doesn't stick to the object, instead tearing and leaving a huge mess. Useless. Useless. waste of time and money. Do not buy. Again, don't waste your time…
