This is a very fun egg slicer. It is suitable for both sliced and boiled eggs. I have not tried any other product and most likely will not. It's a good size and doesn't take up much space. Seems well made and solid. I love kitchen appliances so I know they are put to good use.

Perfect! I was looking for a simple egg slicer but when I found this one I was in seventh heaven! It arrived early and I ended up with only hard boiled eggs in the fridge. So. Been looking for one like this for a long time. They were everywhere growing up, but lately they've been hard to find. This works great and the thin slices can be decorative if you like, but my knife skills are sorely lacking in the contrasting textures of boiled eggs!

So far so good. Most egg cutters break on the first attempt to cut an egg. They all seem to be made the same way. I've had this model for two months now and I've cut dozens of eggs. It is still in pristine condition even after washing with a soapy sponge. I love that it holds the egg in place while I'm slicing and the slices fall into my bowl. I haven't used the slicer yet. I don't make eggs this way, but if the slicer fails I can use it as a fallback.

We are very satisfied with this product. It's well built, easy to use, and cuts eggs accurately. I was hesitant to order it because it's almost twice the length of our previous egg slicer. It takes up more storage drawer space, but the benefit of a six disc vertical slicer outweighs the extra length. I dropped it on the oak floor shortly after it arrived, thinking I'd broken it.
