It's a solid design, but it could use some improvement. First, one of the small yellow pieces came off right after opening the box. I think you can put some glue on it and it's good. You can use sandpaper around the edges. and floral pattern inside. That's a little more than expected. Overall, it serves its purpose of storing ashes and storing incense sticks. Good stuff but needs some work :)

I had one of these when I was a teenager and needed a safer alternative to the one piece open log holder I have so made this purchase. Others have written that the incense burned the inside - of course that happens when you place the incense wrong! treated. I've had it for a few weeks and it does what I need without hesitation.

Firstly when I opened the package the box looked fine. Typical Indian quality. Mounting holes are crooked and drilled in the wrong place. Photo #1: I drilled three holes in a line at an angle of about 20 degrees up. Second: The hole plugs were terrible. It looked awful and stuck crooked. Overall I am very satisfied with this incense stick holder and burner. I only give four stars because the incense stick holes are horizontal (see photo) allowing the sticks to hang down and touch the surface. I took a 1/32" drill bit and drilled two more holes at an angle to make the incense sticks work better. Not a big deal so why couldn't the manufacturer do the same?
