I installed this in my RV. I have a 980Ah battery and a 375 watt solar panel. It can start my microwave or aperture. The price is the best I could find anywhere. Cons: The remote switch is bulky and ugly. (I will replace). What to do with 4 short cables? I replaced the cables with larger and longer ones. I would give this 5+ stars if it had the right wire size and a better switch.

This is a good device, but it's rated for 12 volts, which means you're using a lot of power from the batteries Get the full 3000 watts, which is about 250 amps! They send you two pairs of wires and you must use BOTH sets of wires in parallel for power. I use eight 6v deep cycle batteries (4 pairs of 12v sets in parallel) for my setup. Keep all DC cables as short as possible and use DC fuses directly on the batteries to protect your investment and protect them from fire.
