At first I'm skeptical about this product but after using it I'm amazed at how well made this thing is, the quality of the materials and the output video is so good ! Highly recommended!

It does what it says on the tin, I can connect my Nintendo 64 to my gigantic HDMI projector. The picture quality isn't the best, but I think that's more due to the transmission of analog signals to digital TV than any issues with this product. 4/5, I would buy again.

As my name suggests, it's easy to set up. You will need a powered USB socket, a male-to-male RCA cable (red, white, and yellow), and an HDMI cable. This little gadget will make your old DVDs and videotapes look brand new but even better!

I bought this to connect an old VCR with RCA output to a computer monitor that only works via HDMI, USB or VGA. So far everything is working fine. I didn't worry too much about upscaling the video because what I'm watching was done pre HD. This is a very simple setup. Note that power is supplied via the USB mini-B connector and the cable is quite short. Therefore, you will need access to an electrical outlet (or a powered USB port) near where you intend to place the adapter.

You will lose some black info using this let me tell you but it works for such a low price. Plug in your old gaming system and away you go. A 4:3 aspect ratio expands to 16:9, so keep that in mind. There is no way to turn this off. When I first plugged it in, it had a stutter that would make me want to bring it back, but I figured maybe just unplug and restart. Problem solved. In this price range there is nothing to complain about! Burn your old games and VHS footage in Pseudo HD!

After picking up the Nintendo 64, I realized that I didn't have a display at home to use it on. With this product, I was able to quickly connect the N64, choose between 720p and 1080p settings, and hook up HDMI to the TV. It worked great the first time and haven't had any problems since. I will note that things like the N64 can only be upconverted so much. I just bought a karaoke player of my own free will and it was still in good condition. The problem I have is an old RCA port that doesn't play well with my receiver. On the advice of a friend, I found an RCA to HDMI adapter that converts the signal from an old RCA cable to the newer HDMI technology. I was now able to use this karaoke player with a much better video source. After using it for over a week I noticed that it somehow improves the quality of the video I get out of my karaoke machine.
