Another DOA for portable audio and video devices

It was posted by the last seller and there were a lot of reviews saying this item was DOA but I figured it would happen to me. Wrong, DOA. Will have to return. Thank goodness I bought another one around the same time. I hate working outside all day without listening to books. I tried it with 7 different battery packs but it doesn't work.

Pros
  • Annual test period
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Dud CD Player on Portable CD Players

This portable CD player is awful. It drains batteries at an incredible rate and seems to slow down and speed up when certain songs are selected. Also, since there is no option for additional music via a cable, music can only be heard through the very poor quality earbuds that come with the device. Bad investment but I'm sure my next door garbage man will appreciate it when he finds it at the bottom of a bin.

Pros
  • Free for Educational Use
Cons
  • Available in Black Only

Don't waste your money

The only good thing I can say is that it was cheap. The battery cover doesn't close so I had to seal it with tape. It stops in the middle of a track for no reason and drains the battery faster than any other portable player I've had. I use portable CD book players so I've tried a lot and this is the worst quality I've ever had. Don't waste your money, pay a little more and get a little better

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Easy maintainability

I should have tried before giving!

I bought this for my son's birthday which was recent and my fault was that I didn't open the package to check the item I ordered. It's too late to turn back, but it was broken from the start. It played music for 3 seconds, I hear an audible click and it stopped. I tried moving the new batteries I put in, it didn't help. The plug didn't help either. The disc spins, but that's it. So don't be like me, check it out even if it's a gift before you get embarrassed. I read terrible reviews about the…

Pros
  • Consistent results when tested
Cons
  • There are problems

Absolutely a must, pure nostalgia!

I like it! I can't remember the last time I bought a CD player but I needed it to learn German, the only CD player I have today is in my car. So I bought this CD player to help without leaving home! Excellent purchase! From the moment I ordered it I felt nostalgic and was so excited when it arrived! It's easy to use, uses AA batteries which aren't included, and comes with cheap headphones. Headphones are not for me, I only used iPhone headphones, the sound was great! Started immediately without

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • So far, so good

It stutters fine for Portable Audio & Video

Update: I don't want to jinx myself, but now that I've played a few CDs on it while it's plugged into power the stuttering is gone. almost completely stopped. Huge improvement. Update #2: After not using the player for a few weeks, the player started stuttering again, worse than ever. This will (mostly) go away eventually, but you'll have to suffer some CD stuttering first. so I can't recommend it. Eventually I'll replace it with a Tyler, Deluxe, or Sylvania portable player.___First review…
