Description of Grabease First Training Self Utensils

Supports self-feeding: The short handles of Grabease utensils are ergonomically designed to suit the natural movement and grip of babies’ hands, encouraging baby-led weaning and giving your wee one a chance to learn on their own schedule. No choking hazards: The cloud-shaped collar on Grabease baby silverware acts as a choke protection barrier, to ensure your child does not gag on the utensil while experimenting with self-feeding. No nasty chemicals: These toddler fork and spoon sets are made from 100% safe plastic, free from BPA, lead, phthalates and other harmful materials. Easy clean-up: These baby spoons and forks are safe for the top rack of your dishwasher. Simply toss them in with your dishes or boil them for 2 minutes to clean. Develops dexterity: Occupational therapists recommend Grabease. As your kiddos feed themselves, they develop motor skills and their finger muscles grow stronger, preparing them for coloring, drawing and writing in the future.

Disappointing Baby Utensils

The Grabease utensils are disappointing .Although they look cute, they are not FUNCTIONAL for self-feeding babies. The silicone tips are too soft making it difficult for babies to grip and scoop food. Plus, the fork wasn`t pointy enough to pierce through soft food. The only positive is the cute color options. Overall, not worth the purchase for baby self-feeding..

Pros
  • Grabease First Training Self Utensils promote self-feeding skills, improve hand-eye coordination, and help develop independence in children.
Cons
  • The fork and spoon may be too shallow for effective scooping and may take some time for children to adjust to the unique shape.

Buy this version early and potentially for cheaper

I have two of these bought for each of my 15 month old twins. To varying degrees, both already use the normal children's forks and spoons. But I thought it might help them get food in their mouths a little easier. Upon unboxing I was disappointed at how small and thin they are for the price. The spoon is useless to us as it doesn't help to keep it upright. Being a short spoon doesn't really do any good. My daughter was fascinated by these spoons but they are too small for her hands. My son…

Pros
  • No nasty chemicals: these baby fork and spoon sets are made from 100% safe plastic, free from BPA, lead, phthalates and other harmful materials
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
