Excellent front-to-back tension is achieved with three 30-tooth ratchet wheels. Now install you fabric without tacks or tape! Simply align your fabric and push in using the tubing. The EZ3 has a light-weight, yet sturdy design. It is made from premium dense Baltic birch plywood. The rails are aluminum extrusions made specifically with the quilting process in mind. Handy quilt frame

I do a lot of hand quilting. My old frame failed so I switched to EZ3. It took a while to assemble, but the instructions are clear. I currently have a king size duvet. It gets close to the edges of the frame but blends in nicely. This frame makes it very easy to adjust the quilting area and doesn't take much time. I can easily adjust the quilting area myself, even with a king-size quilt, which is unheard of for most frames. I find that the adjustable incline is easy on the back. I no longer…

Pros
  • Now secure the fabric without thumbtacks or ties! Just lay out the fabric and push the tube through
Cons
  • Big and bulky

This quilt frame was the worst thing I have ever tried to assemble in my life, it took me 3 attempts and I had nothing but confusion, I had to hire someone to do this for me and once It was together, it's shaky and difficult to handle without using anything as described in the info. I would not recommend it nor try to buy it again and in fact if I had to repeat it I would not buy it. Remember that I try very hard to NEVER leave a bad review on something I buy, whether I like it or not. It's my…

Beautiful but expensive - quilting

I used to quilt on a homemade frame that I really liked. I bought it thinking it would be way better than my homemade one. In my opinion, this is only better because you don't have to sweep the ceiling. It was a little tricky figuring out how to put the blanket, lining and batting on properly, but I finally did it. The instructions could be a little clearer. If you use king size bars, they are huge and take up a lot of space. I'm still knitting my first blanket on it so all I can say is that it

Looks cheap, braces are hanging through

My husband bought this for me just over a year ago. I decided I'm not a fan of this frame. I have it in the longest setting. I usually make large blankets. The pillars seemed to sag. It's very easy. With that said, I feel like I have to be gentle with him or he's going to break up. The sticks are very flimsy and disappointing that they now have permanent deflection. I've kicked my legs/feet with my toes more times than I care to admit. They stick out a bit and you really need a dedicated space…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
