This is a great tip for a thin, even finish!

Works great on our kitchen cabinets. You look professional. We tried some blue tips but they didn't give the smooth finish we wanted until we switched to this one.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

love the tip! for spray guns

This fine finishing tip is just what I need for finishing cabinets. I used neat urethane alkylated paint and it laid down like a champ with no blemish. The machine had to be set to a higher pressure to compensate for the viscosity level of the undiluted paint, but that doesn't bother me as I got the job done and the result is excellent.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Functionality

and wanted a nice (closet-like) finish

I originally bought this tip to spray baseboards and doors and wanted a nice (closet-like) finish. I've now decided not to use this tip on cabinets (mostly for overspray) but the paint coats perfectly and I was able to spray quickly. Definitely recommend this tip for all finishing touches.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great tip - works with Graco TC Pro

I bought this to use with my Graco TC Pro. Yes, the tip fits perfectly (all FFLP tips will fit). I used it with Ben Moore Advance paint to cover some of the beams I made for the ceiling. The workmanship was perfect and I was very impressed. Such a difference from the 0.015 tips it came with. I did not filter and did not dilute the paint, but sprayed it on the gun at the 4th level. Excellent results. Take the time to do a good primer and sand as this will show imperfections.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • I'll write back

Fake or Defect? - Paints, wall care products and supplies

Didn't work. I bought the blue guard from Graco. I put the case and guard in place but the color doesn't come out. I bought another ff tip from Sherman Williams and compared them. I shined a light on the end of the tip and the light doesn't go through the hole. The one bought here has no hole. I'll be back. It took me time and money as I had already primed the paint in the airbrush and was getting ready to paint. Then I couldn't use the tip for its intended purpose. The Sherman Williams FF 310…

Wardrobe essential

I used this tip to place Milesi HKR 113 Poly. This tip gives a maple cabinet door a factory finish. I'm blown away by the quality of the finish on this tip and Milesi, and I'm by no means a professional painter. The tip had minimal spray. I used Graco X5. There was no orange peel, absolutely nothing wrong. If you're like me, you've done a lot of research to ensure you get the perfect finish. You will also read on websites and other forums that this is not possible with a home made vaporizer…

Pros
  • Great for a small home

  • Hard to tell

Low overspray, easy control, high quality tip.

This is an excellent spray tip for jobs that require a smooth finish. I mainly use it for spraying surfaces and sometimes closet doors. More recently it was used to spray upholstery in a medium sized bedroom. It has very little overspray and uses low pressure (around 1000psi) so it's very easy to control and sucks up paint slowly. I like to start with a very low pressure and gradually increase it until the marks on the atomizer disappear. You MUST filter the paint - I only spray latex and on my

Amazing spray tip, suitable for paint application tools

Failed to load media. The 310 tip produces a very fine 6 inch mist. I used Graco Project Painter Plus with blue RAC X protection (which you need for this tip). I sprayed on Benjamin Moore Advanced Semi-Gloss undiluted. This is a great choice for cabinet doors to give a smooth finish. 3 doors out of 21 saw a small orange peel but you really have to look for it. See all pictures and videos The reversible tip is very practical when it gets clogged. Filter the paint before use as this will help…

Not as good as HVLP but much easier

I used to use the well-known Harbor Freight magenta HVLP gun for cabinet work. This produced great results, but it was incredibly difficult to set up and fill the compressor, mix the paint, and adjust the spray gun. 30-45 minutes before you start painting, clean thoroughly and then repeat several coats. Then I read about these new Graco FFLP tips and having previously worked with an airless sprayer I was amazed at the relative ease of use. The tip does its job very well. Much better than a…
