VERY good replacement for Jupo

I need to find this in matte white. This is a great substitute for Yupo paper and you can heat it with a hair dryer and it will NEVER warp or melt like Yupo does with alcohol ink and hot stamping. I love these things and they are way cheaper than the Yupo.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • cord is shorter than other picks

These Dura-lar sheets are perfect for my Cameo Silhouette printer

These Dura-lar sheets are perfect for my Cameo Silhouette printer. I cut them out, lightly spray glue on the back to stick to the wine barrels (custom wine barrel coolers), then seal the area with tape and newspaper to prevent overspray. Most of them can be used at least 3-4 times before I have to print another stencil.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Some issues

Good choice for shake cards

This is a really good acetate. I've used it for windows on a number of Shaker cards. It cuts easily with my trimmer (for the square cut in this image) and with punches (for the round cut in the other card). It's thick enough to hold a shaker well. A tip: if you're using it on a shaker window, reduce static with an anti-static tool or dryer sheet. This will help your glitter move freely in the shaker window instead of sticking to it.

Suitable for paper and paper craft cards

My son had to make 20 cards for his geography class this summer. Who Signs Up for Summer Homework? He was allowed to trace the outlines of the country. It's much easier to use than a light table. The result is a nice neat card as you can color the back and mark the names on the front. The ink rubbed off easily, the coating held up well and didn't rub off completely (there are no shiny transparent areas that can't be written on). Similar to drawing mylar but a little lighter but not flimsy. This

Best paper for the money!

I draw with alcohol ink. I used to be a Yupo snob, and then I found Dura-lar. This is the best synthetic paper for alcohol ink. I use a heat gun and it absorbs heat without warping. I only use matte finish (my preference) and I love it. The color spreads well, leaves virtually no stains and the price is great. I'm a big fan and this is my favorite. I will continue to order this brand. Not only is it cheaper than all other synthetic papers, you always have more sizes to choose from. I make…

Great tool for paper and papercraft creativity

I've been using Dur-Lar foils for a few weeks now. I used them to create stencils with my Cricut. The movie is very easy to use and works well in my Cricut. The film cuts fine on my machine (even small parts) but I set it to two cuts. Since purchasing I've found Dura-Lar to have many uses, I've used it as an airbrush sign, to protect and display artwork, to make gift boxes with a see-through window, and many other crafts. Duralar is acid free and therefore protects items from discoloration over

Tried it for colored pencil work

Probably haven't tried it yet - interesting surface to work with on both sides. Color pencil layers can only be applied a certain number of coats and apparently with more than a few washes the entire "tooth" is lost and literally can't hold the color pencil (oil or wax based). I discovered this the hard way and had to put some ink and paint in several places to save my parrot drawing. Experts refer to this particular surface as the "classroom," so be aware that it's great for ink but…
