This is a piece of junk. It's anything but "hard work". The cheap thin Chinese metal in the handle of this tool is not strong enough to withstand the torque required to loosen the jam nut. He will bow. Guarantee me, the handles on this thing will bend, you'll swear, and the nut won't snap. Then you send it back like I did.

I have used this tool a number of times to install and tighten caps on my trailer and it fits and tightens perfectly every time without scratching or damaging nut covers. If you're looking for a cheap nut tightening tool, then this is a great choice.

I was a bit concerned when people said this thing would break. I found the key is that you don't have to "hook" it when tightening the caps on my Class A diesel. You pop the cap and wiggle up/down/sideways a bit and the cap pops off immediately. If you press too hard, the cover will stick together. The rivet hinge is cheap and might be a future point of failure, but the device itself worked well and the rubber caps hold like glue with moderate pressure.
