I love this meal! Smells like real HUMAN food. You know what's in food! A little overpriced for the size. I would like them to lower the prices or offer special offers directly. It gets too expensive when you have 3+ dogs along with large dogs.

Stopped feeding my dogs dry food and suspected that canned food was nutritious. Read in the article that this freeze dried meal was the best of both worlds as it was fresh veggies and meat with the convenience of a quick meal. Also popular with dogs.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the lamb is in very large chunks. Which complicates the convenience of sublimated products. I called the company and they explained that you have to break up the lumps of meat product with a meat tenderizer type hammer. Still a good product but not as convenient as the freeze dried chicken product I bought the first time.

don't buy lamb. I used to always buy chicken or salmon. I found the lamb to be chunky and greasy and to cause diarrhea or frequent bowel noises in my 10 pound miniature poodle. I go back to the chicken. I only use a small amount that I boil and put in the efigerator so I don't have to mix it up every time I feed him. Now he refuses to eat his dry dog food unless it contains grandma food.

I tried it for my somewhat fussy old dog at the recommendation of kids and grandkids whose dogs really love it. Unfortunately I didn't succeed. I was hoping he would swallow it so I could use it to administer medication to him. He just doesn't like the texture. I tried different amounts of water, but none of them appealed to him.
