Grangers Merino Wool Wash England Review

Bought a bottle to try using for washing Merino wool tops (I have several). I'm getting ready to order my next bottle because I LOVE how my tops come out of the wash! They are clean and smell nice and don't appear "worn" (fine) from being washed in the washing machine. Now I wash my tops with peace of mind, knowing they'll come out of the washing machine clean and won't be "ruined" by the machine. I wash my tops on the gentle cycle and hang them to dry with no extra fuss. Very easy!

People only complain about the smell of wet wool. If you wash a ton of merino wool in water without soap, you'll still get a strong odor. This soap itself has a subtle cedar scent that you'll only notice if you're really looking for it. Overall this is clearly a very gentle product and if you use it diligently your woolen garments will definitely last longer. I bought this to wash my baby's merino comforter. It worked when it came to getting all the stains out of the fabric and her comforter ended up in the same condition I left it in so I trust this wash will keep her comforter in good condition. However when I read this, it had cedarwood extract to repel moths I assumed it would smell woody or earthy after washing. NOT CORRECT. Smells like 100% wet dog. It's an unpleasant smell.
