Good product but needs some changes/improvements

I bought this product to try to fit my ENVE carbon handlebars. It didn't fit but that's not the product's fault, it would have if I hadn't cut the bars. So I figured I'd try putting it on my Eagle GX cranks. I think this is where the product can have several different rubber bushings to make it work with SRAM Eagle cranks. I finally found a rubber grommet at a hardware store and got it working. Let's see if it lasts.

Good build quality. Beware if you have carbon bars as they won't fit on one side of my bar, probably because the carbon bar isn't completely uniform internally. It took a bit of effort to get him to stay in the bar. Over-tightening the bolt will compress the rubber, causing it to slip out of the handlebars. You have to find a middle ground in how hard you tighten it so it stays in.

Cool and versatile for tool kits

The size is perfect. I had another one that was too small to hold bacon. And one that was unnecessarily large. Granite has enough room for some bacon, and I add a valve core because I can. Suitable for oars, independent of oar ends, and crank. I use a Shimano 12 speed crank and it fits perfectly. Just remember that you need a tool to unscrew it, so if you plan to use it on a handlebar or crank, you'll need a multi-tool. Well done and well thought out.

Solid set, better mount can be used

I bought this along with the Granite chain tool - they make a good set. I haven't had to use it yet, but the quality of the tool seems good and I don't expect any problems with it. Based on the pictures on the internet I figured I could get a few more strips of bacon in the tube. I bought a manual refill kit to refill it. You can put less flab in this tool than you might think - I was able to squeeze in an extra 5 blades (in addition to the 4 that came with it) but it was very difficult to put…
