I have never had to give a bad review until now. This crap doesn't work. From all the videos I've watched this should work fine, but it doesn't seem to fit the device's hole, which prevents me from screwing it on top and I don't want to cut my finger to make it work! Now I'm losing money because I can't deliver because I can't cut what I need!

I have been using the Cameo 2 for several years now and ratchet blades have become more expensive and harder to find. (Our Michaels just revamped their vinyl department and no longer sell Silhouette products in store.) So I've seen a lot of people use that as an alternative. The blades are very similar to my large Roland cutter, but I still watched a YouTube video to make sure I loaded the blade correctly. Works great! Fits cameo 2 perfectly and I'm happy camping.

I'm still new to getting to know my Cameo 3. I've heard so many good things about the cb09 blade from the "experts", I've heard horror stories too. I wanted to slide the blade open until I had a grip on my machine. After wasting too much Autoblade vinyl I took a chance and ordered one. It arrived today and after watching a YouTube video on inserting a blade and using a bit of common sense I decided to test it out with a mandala design. This item does not disappoint and I am glad I ordered it!

I'm giving 4 stars because I don't think the blades that come with it are good. I set this to the maximum setting for deep cutting blades to cut laminate sheets and I couldn't cut through them. I've also tried all the print settings. I even had trouble cutting cardboard with a deep-cut blade. I know I put it in my Cameo 3 correctly because the blade cuts vinyl very well. So I will only use it for cutting vinyl. I can't say all deep cut blades were bad, but ONE I tried made me remove the blades…

Great for the Silhouette Cameo! The tips were packed in boxes and marked by size. Cuts great and is a lot cheaper than the cheap looking Silhouette brand blades. Instructions not included, search the web for videos on setting up and installing blades. TIPS: * Instead of trying to mark the blade holder, I "by eye" determine the height of the blade and make a test cut. Seriously, this set has already saved me so much money! I'm not a traditional Silhouette user. I cut sticky vinyl, htv, cardstock, marine vinyl, canvas and fabric! I mainly use it for cutting fabric for making purses and purses, so I use a few blades every month. Getting a new fabric or premium blade from a Silhouette would cost me about $10-$12 a piece.
