Bought 2 ounces to try the vanilla/cigar scent. His. a very, very light cigar, if any. The oil or balm is similar to Fisticuff mustache wax. Honestly, unless you care about the scent, this is a pretty bad shaving cream. The shaving cream smells really great, I don't care how "rough" my shave is. I've just shaved a few times with this particular oil/cream and can't get over how hard and rough it is to shave. I have changed the blade several times to reduce the "jerking" and cuts that come with use. My other products soften the hair and the razor glides fairly easily for a closer shave.
