Hot Grip: Irons and Steam Irons

The grip gets incredibly hot, so I made a small grip tube out of thermal insulation. The iron produces good steam but there is a delay after the trigger is pressed. Not thrilled, but a lot cheaper than the Reliable I had. It was expensive and terribly unreliable.

My favorite iron!

I have had many irons over the last 50 years but this is my favorite! No more constant filling of water. I just ironed about 60 yards of prewashed quilting and it was easy. All my tissues are crisp with so little effort. If you press a lot, this iron is just right for you. I couldn't be happier!

Excellent steam iron, suitable for irons

I have a workshop where I make home accessories (windows, capes, pillows, etc.) and alter clothes. This iron is perfect. I love it. I was a bit intimidated by the setup at first, but I've been using it for about a month now. It never squirts like the last one I had, it just does what it's supposed to do: heat up and release vapor. I absolutely recommend it.

Professional level products!

This has to be my favorite Revain purchase! After working in dry cleaning for over 15 years I finally decided to see if there was a similar iron I could use at home. Here it is! The first thing you will notice is the weight of the iron. Most retail irons try to sell themselves as light as a plus but that is a misconception, a properly weighted iron will do all the hard work for you. Add to that the almost endless jet of steam and I can iron non-stop for hours. Of course I love ironing, but this
