Amazing brightness

My wife and I just replaced our bathroom fixtures. She said she wanted the brightest lightbulbs I could find at a low price. These lamps appeared to fully meet these requirements. I installed new lights, put in new lightbulbs and. Okay, remember Clark Griswold's neighbors were blinded by his Christmas lights? If you want something bright, be careful what you ask for. After being slapped in the face by the full illumination of these 6 bulbs, my wife forced me to use lower wattage bulbs fromโ€ฆ

These bulbs are HOT and flammable. CAUTION

LED bulbs get very hot. Bought them for a house in South Florida. One of the underappreciated benefits of LEDs is that they generate far less heat than incandescent or fluorescent lights. In a climate where we use alternating current all the time, this is a real advantage for LEDs. These 100-watt Great Eagle lightbulbs heat up as soon as you turn them on. By "hot" I mean too hot to touch the base of the lamp, I mean hotter than 9W A19 spiral fluorescent lamps. Too hot to touch - you have toโ€ฆ

Super white, super bright and compatible with my garage door openers

We have three single garage compartments and three openers. I recently installed two 100w FEIT LED bulbs in each of our garage door openers. Almost immediately, my wife started complaining that the Home Link remote that was built into her car wasn't working. His compartment door opens with a 2012 Chamberlain Liftmaster Formula 1 model. In order to close the garage door after leaving the garage, she had to be right next to the opening. The door also began to half close; although I'm not sure ifโ€ฆ
