Very light hammer ideal for hand tools

Good if you are looking for a very light hammer. I wish the handle was bigger. Maybe ok for a small hand. I needed it to be heavier to pave. I tried to use this to unscrew the gas tank retaining ring to get to the fuel pump. It's not hard enough for that either.

Pros
  • No returns on this sale item
Cons
  • I'll get back to you

Worked great for making metal shelving that required a rubber mallet. The handle is smooth so there are no splinters. My biggest complaint is the smell. He smelled so bad! But now that it's out of the box, things get better. The weight was balanced and comfortable to wear.

Pros
  • Hand Tool
Cons
  • So far so good

Lightweight hammer for small jobs

This is 8 oz. A hammer is perfect when you need to "hit" something and the hammer is too hard and the standard hammer is too heavy or too big. I was able to fix the storm door closer in 5 minutes with a few swipes of this little gem so it's already taken its place in my toolbox. You will love it once you need it!

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • No Power

Not a bad tool but leaves black marks everywhere

This is a good little solid hammer, but it leaves black marks on any surface it touches. For example, if I put pads under furniture with a hammer, I get black streaks on the floor. When I drive the pins into the toilet seat with a hammer, I get black marks on the top of the pins. If I use it, I have to take my detergent with me. Recommend a clean head hammer instead.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Discontinued
