Great game never boring but highly recommended addons

When I got flipped my colleague brought this game for us to try. Then we fought epic superhero battles across the multiverse for 3 months. Now that I've bought it, I'm still happy to say that this game is still a pleasure to play. My kids love this game too. My 8 year old is easy enough to learn with a little help. I haven't played this game with a friend or neighbor who doesn't say they had a good time. The only recommendation is to buy expansion packs. With the base set, you only get 4…

Fun card game but not perfect

Many reviews already cover the basics of the game, how to play it, so based on my experience I'll get to the point: Consider another game if you will always have 3 players (like my group). The game lacks good scaling (H value doesn't work) so the difficulty is pretty much the same regardless of the difficulty of heroes and villains and whether you're playing with 3, 4 or 5 players/heroes. This requires the game to be challenging for 3, 4 and 5 players, shifting towards the higher tier while the

Fun game but can be challenging

My brother introduced me to this game during a weekend visit and we (5 people in our group) played it 3 times over 2-3 days. I ended up buying it after it was gone because we really liked it. If you don't have enough players, you can always ask one or two players to play two characters. My husband and I sometimes play 2 characters each. This doesn't give you much of an advantage since many actions affect players depending on the number of characters playing. We tried playing with only two…

I definitely like this concept and enjoy its novelty.

This game ranks somewhere between 3 and 4 for me. I definitely like the concept and enjoy the novelty of everything, but I'm not sure how long it will stay. in terms of damage modifiers and shields. I can see this game working much better than a digital game that can calculate everything automatically for you instead of on the table. It's not impossible to track, but it definitely slows down gameplay. By the way, about the gameplay. I know this is all geared towards playing one card per turn…

Fun game for competitive groups

My friends and I love board games, card games, strategy games, etc. so of course we noticed this. I read the instructions carefully as that's the type of person I am (and we've never played before, heard about it but never played). It took a few rounds to get into the rhythm and deal with the kinks, but after the initial romp we had a good time (for the record, we usually play games like Mtg, Dominion, D&D, Monster Boss, a bit like a pandemic ). , Cards Against Humanity, Basics). Playing…

Decent game - good for a Friday night

Now that I've played this game a few times, here are some specific thoughts, broken down by pros and cons: Pros:- You can install and catch They start playing very quickly. - The game moves at a good pace, which means that all players can participate. - The ability to mix and match different decks allows you to adjust the difficulty of the game to suit your skill level and ability Adjust number of players .Con:- I'm a bit disappointed that you can't adjust hero decks. Not a big problem, but it…

Cardboard Home Theater Pretend Play

I'm obsessed with this game right now! I bought it in real life and soon after on Steam. The more I play the game, the more it seems to me that they managed to create a classic RPG (in the video game sense) in a map format. It's like an old-school coop cardboard version of Final Fantasy: you have heroes, enemies, hitpoints, attackpoints, you use abilities each turn, you get stronger over time, and you work together to defeat the boss. The different characters are great, each one is unique and…

Great for the right party

I've played several superhero card games (DC Deck Builder, Marvel Legendary) but Sentinels of the Multiverse is a little different. Here's an overview of how each game plays out, because that's what I'd like to know before I buy Marvel Legendary1) Sentinels is a fully cooperative game in which players take on the role of a superhero by taking his unique deck and throwing it into the go battle . villain in a specific environment. Each hero has a unique strategy: someone helps manage other decks,
