Perfect replacement but keep the old filter for specs. The biggest difference is that this one doesn't have a sticker listing all the information about it.

This HEPA filter is an ideal replacement for OEM parts. It fits perfectly and the price is more reasonable. Be sure to replace or at least clean regularly (every 6 months to a year) to keep your vacuum's motor well ventilated while enjoying maximum suction power.

Many Hoover compatible HEPA filters available - Original part not found. Too bad they don't exist anymore. This works fine. Now that I understand the flow of the vacuum, I understand why ours stopped sucking well. You can clean the main filter (top of canister) with water, but let it dry until it's REALLY dry, which can take over 24 hours. Located at the bottom of the canister, the HEPA filter is the last thing air goes through before entering your room. You want the air to be CLEAN.

The replacement filter is perfect for our Hoover Air. It sits right where the old one was. The only thing I noticed was that there was no filter style sticker on the gray body around the filter. So if you get this one as a replacement, take a picture of which HEPA filter you need so you know when you need another replacement.
