I haven't used it yet, but I have a lot of experience with the previous version (2013). At first glance and feel, the rear system isn't as rigid and supportive as the previous model. Still, the new features feel good, the overall look and feel is excellent, and unless I'm in for a huge surprise, I'd choose this over competing products.

Great backpack! Tons of storage. Lots of pockets for organization. The raincoat fits well and keeps our supplies dry during afternoon Colorado downpours. The only complaint. The stitching of the water bladder suspension system came undone and I had to re-sew it. Stronger than before and holding up well now. Otherwise great packaging!

This backpack was very comfortable for heavy loads and fitted my figure well. It has plenty of pockets to store your belongings as well as a rain cover included. This one is going to Philmont next year!

In general, this is a great bag, but it's not the latest model. Durable, comfortable, light. I would happily give it 5 stars but there are a few (very) minor annoyances listed below. Very comfortable seat belt system, the best I have ever had. Great freedom of movement, especially when climbing trees and overcoming obstacles. At 6ft 2ft other packs were too ribbed. A large number of pockets with easy access even when the backpack is full. The water tank holder turns into a daily backpack. Overall very impressed so far after a hike.

Love it! It's amazing how well it holds the weight! I just ran 50 miles and made minimal adjustments to the straps to reduce pressure points. Highly recommended.

The ONLY reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the zippered pockets on the belt are too small so there's nowhere to put my phone. I could barely fit anything in it other than small snacks. I just had to put the phone in my shorts pocket, which I didn't really like. It would be nice if you could remove the fanny packs so I could strap something else in there, but they're not that easy to remove. "Iron Orange" looks duller red. If you're expecting a bright orange color, this isn't it. I'm unhappy that they can't advertise the color properly. The packaging itself is amazing. The real color isn't bad either, but it's not like that at all in the photo. It would be five out of five if they could accurately represent their product.
