Haven't used the remote yet, hang it on a small live tree outside in Georgetown, Colorado and it will survive snow and 9 degrees. They last around 6-8 hours. Everyone loves her!

I hung these up. Left them in the sun. Turned on, no light. Press the power button again. Left them in the sun. There is still no light. Changed battery, tried again. There is still no light. I am very disappointed because they are very cute. I just want them to shine. Disappointing, now I have to embrace something else.

I just love them! They are very bright as long as there is sun during the day. It was cloudy and snowing yesterday so we didn't charge enough for last night but this is the first time they haven't lit in two weeks. I have them on my apartment patio railing and I am very proud of their shimmering, shimmering show.

Disappointed I bought 2 boxes of starlights for my deck. Spent most of the day taking apart a box to find out the wire wasn't connected to the light. I believe they were returned by a previous customer and I received them. When I first turned them on to see only half of the set worked? So try your lanterns out before you waste time untangling them!

We thought the light was broken because it wouldn't come on for us. We soon realized that they would only get us after dark. I don't remember reading this in the product description but it's not a problem for us. It only gave us a day or two to believe the product was no good. I'm glad we didn't send it back as damaged/broken at the time. We went out one night to see the lights and they are bright and beautiful!

These lamps are more pastel colored but just as beautiful. The only thing is they are not as durable as the old ones I've bought in the past. I bought these stars in warm white last year and loved them, but they didn't fit this year. I charged the batteries and then bought new ones, of course they just died. I have other kits that I use for my garden and they still work! I only wish they had lasted more than a season.

I LOVE the solar lights in the garden! I live in Hawaii and get "free" electricity for my jewelry year-round. I have more than 10 garlands with lights, bumblebees, dragonflies and butterflies, so these "stars" interested me. THEY ARE COOL! Dislikes: Tangled. Awkward to disassemble. It has no plastic hooks to attach to the balcony railing. I couldn't use it on the balcony by getting in and out of the metal bars so I taped it to the window and used a feature on one side. It holds, but it would be a lot easier with hooks.
