🔒 Trailer Wheel Lock with Enhanced Grip Review

I bought this to keep my kayak trailer from being stolen when it's on the boat ramp. It fits perfectly on my Lowe 5-8 trailer. I changed the lock to Abus 20/70 for more security.

Looks like it does what it says on the tin. I wish it had a hardened steel plate to cover the lug nuts as well. This is logical and no one thought of it before.

I like the heavy material they made the green hook out of. I'm assuming it's mild steel and will take some time to cut with a handsaw. An angle grinder does this job in half a minute. The lock is stamped from stainless steel. I don't think he can take a few hits with a hammer. I will keep and use it because it is used to prevent someone from rolling back the trailer. That was all I had in mind anyway. Maybe a master lock will increase the efficiency of the device?

This is a great product. Replaced lock with Abus Diskus 20/70. The lock that came with it was difficult to fit and very cheap (I'm afraid someone might knock it out. This lock actually works really well for a cargo trailer. He does what he has to do. Lock the wheel. Although I'd lock it better than the one that comes with this J-Bar. The J-bar goes around the leaf spring and the bar goes through a hole in the tire rim.
