This item has been fantastic over the winter. As soon as it got even a little warm it stopped sticking to my window and the clip stopped holding my phone. I have cleaned and replaced it twice before it no longer fully holds not only itself but also my phone. I won't buy any other.

I have an iPhone 6 plus. Fits the holder well. But the only option for me is a window/suction cup mount. After about a week, the bracket kept coming off the glass, even hitting the wiper arm. And yes, the glass was clean. Too bad, thought that would be a good solution.

Date 6/2018 The suction cup sticking to the windscreen broke causing the mount to fall off the windscreen. I live in Buffalo, New York so it's definitely not from the sun. Do not buy!. Inside the padding material where the clip holds the phone, it falls off. This is the cheap self-adhesive type that you buy to caulk an old door in your house.

I really like this holder, but it doesn't stand up to the wear and tear of changing the holder from one machine to another. My first device fell down and didn't pull itself up. My second one was either damaged or I may have dropped part of the holder. I wonder if the material is strong enough. Update: I really liked the DVD holder, but after a few months of use I found that it has a tendency to fall out due to road vibrations. I've now switched to a bleed mount which I think will prove safer.

I received the same product from Verizon when I got my new phone and I love it. So I got the same for a family member and they were so excited. The problem with this is that if you use the suction cup on your windshield in the summer, the sun will heat up the sticky suction cup, causing it to slide down and leave glue on the glass. It probably takes a Goo Gone to take it off. But I took it off and put it back when it's clean. It didn't leave any sticky residue initially, and there's still a bit

I was very happy to receive this item, but unfortunately I was very disappointed. I have a slim Galaxy S9+ phone, but I also have a ring on the back that I use to hold the phone when using GPS. (As I haven't found a holder for my car yet) this resulted in the phone sticking out too much on the bottom "shelf" of the holder instead of sitting in the groove. I think this holder could work with smaller, lighter phones, especially since it's so light I just don't see it being able to hold newer…
