Description of GRIP6 Socks Thick Hiking Midnight

Wool Blend. Made in the USA. THE PERFECT ANKLE SOCK - These high-quality Ankle Socks fit comfortably above the average running shoe and right in line with the edge of a low-hiker boot, which means this sock should be your everyday-wear sock for years to come. ROCKY MOUNTAIN MERINO WOOL - Fine Micron Rambouillet Merino Wool, sourced in the USA, makes these socks comfortable. HIGH-GRADE MATERIAL- 36% Wool, 58% Nylon, 6% Elastic - this combination of wool, nylon, and elastic is ideal for maintaining the benefits of wool - wicking, breathability, stretch, and insulation while gathering in the benefits of nylon and elastic - namely increased durability and material bounce-back. STAY FRESH & DRY - Because these merino wool socks for men wick moisture so well, they feel and smell fresh at the end of the day. 100% MADE IN THE USA- GRIP6 is a provider and supporter of high quality, domestic jobs. Not only are these socks made by GRIP6, but the materials are also sourced from the USA and much of the wool comes from our backyard, the Rocky Mountains.

Rolls up very badly right out of the box

Fits decently but doesn't roll up well and looks terrible right off the bat. In the photo above, I put them on for the first time after only a few hours. I wore them on a lazy day off. I put them on around lunchtime, went to dinner and watched TV with my family and they already look awful. Now they are essentially dust magnets, and any dust or lint on the floor will get caught in the fibers. I have a Grip6 strap which I love so I'm surprised at the poor quality of these socks. I have much…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Good but not great
