What is referred to as suede is actually nylon sidewalls and possibly a faux suede insole, otherwise the shoe appears to be well designed and well padded on the inside for barefoot comfort, although for walking the shoe could have used more padding in the heel. When I skateboarded I needed a cooler shoe, but I also needed a shoe that offered ample protection and was rated for heavy use, which I found with good reviews and wasn't disappointed. First, they are made of thick quality leather. Holds the foot well, good thick profile that is not thin at all where it has a good quality sole. My size 8 fits perfectly as I expected. There are no cons, I can't think of one that makes me very happy with the purchase.

Bought these all terrain sandals for everyday wear. I ordered 10.5 according to their instructions (normal shoe size is 11D) and the size and width are fine. They appear to be well made, but I haven't used them often enough to be honest about their durability. The fit is good and they are easy to put on and take off thanks to the Velcro closure on the heel. There could have been more arch support if the company had added true arch support to the sole.
