🐴 Original General Purpose Horse and Pet Comb by Grooma Review

Gave 3 stars because mine never arrived. However, if it is the original Grooma grooming tool. I absolutely LOVE them FOR MY HORSES! It's a tough rubber used in a circular motion, ideal for removing tough, dry dirt and loose hair. On sensitive horses, do not apply excessive pressure to the spine, the nerve above the withers, or against the direction of hair growth.

I love mine. Ideal for shedding coats. Most of the hair falls on the floor so I try to use it outside and comb it with a raincoat brush to pick up any loose hair. It works very well year-round on my wire-haired Beagle. On my softer hair, the lazy mixture basically helps against hair loss. If I had to choose only one tool it would be a puff brush, but having used both I wouldn't be left without them. Oh, dogs really seem to like this brush, especially when used gently.

Great heavy curry for my horse. I have to replace them in a year or two because the spikes wear down into rounded knobs, but my horse, who has a soft skin, LOVES being petted with this thing. In addition, during the moulting period, loose hairs collect on the teeth and form small strands. All I have to do is point it at the bottom, shake it well and the pancake falls right out of the curry leaving it ready to grate again. SUPER easy to clean.

I bought 6 of these. I have Belgian draft horses and while cleaning and grooming the horses I hold one of these horses in each hand. This is real draft horse training. That's the message horses like to remember. They are good at removing hair from their fur! I use them post competition with Vitrolene and pre show grooming. The horses look great.
