Well balanced, good for claw hammers

This plumb bob is well balanced and easy to use even when driving a lot of nails. The fiberglass handle helps reduce shock to the wrist and hand.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Useless features

The best hammer among the claw hammers

Jackhammers are the best, grip, weight, balance and ability to drive nails straight. The fiberglass shaft and rubber grip make it easy to drive in large nails.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

Best all-purpose hammer

Their balance is really excellent. This is a replacement for the one that was lost and I've tried several other brands since then. (Hard hammers work really well for framing, but for general use I prefer this one).

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Medium hammer, the best of hand tools

Arrived in used condition all with scratches and cuts. Not compared to my other similarly priced percussion instruments such as Craftsman and Vaughan. If this brand is a must have, pick it up at your local store where you can pick it up in brand new condition.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • No instructions

You can't hit! (pun intended)

I have several different types and styles of hammers, but when it comes to hammering or pulling nails I want my 40 year old 16 ounce plumb bob. It's perfectly balanced and I can drive nails straight or at an angle all day without bending them. The steel head seems to be better than all the others because it hardly scratches compared to my much newer and less used heads. The same is true when it comes to pulling nails. The claws bite and pull them out even when the nail heads are broken. This…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Pros
  • Virtually unbreakable fiberglass handle
Cons
  • Outdated

Hammer for life. in power tools and hand tools

This hammer was purchased for working on vinyl siding. My jackhammers are too heavy and they all have straight blades. I wanted something lighter with a curved handle. I've used it for 2 full days driving a few hundred galvanized roofing nails into vinyl siding and it's perfect. The soft rubber handle is a bonus, I use the soft end of the handle to nail each row in place as I drive the nails in. I have found that I can drive nails faster and straighter with this hammer. Ideal length and weight…

Pros
  • Contoured handle for comfort and less fatigue
Cons
  • Non automatic
