A convenient, accurate and time saving tool for knowing the height offset of the workpiece from the cutting tool. Gauge lights up instantly when the cutting tool touches the probe on the gauge resting on the workpiece. Hardened and precision ground body. Four equally spaced light ports for visibility from any angle; Spring loaded probe safeguards against damage from overrun. Reads off any electrically conductive metal.

Not long. There were problems from the start, but I fixed everything.

I had some problems with the LED not wanting to work all the time. I had to take the LED out and fiddle with it several times. It's not the batteries! Doesn't work anymore. For the money they charge this is poor quality. Should contain an additional LED. I lost a day's work as a result.
