Description of Grumbacher Academy Paint 1 25 Sienna

A traditional brown found in most palettes as it is highly versatile in mixing. Semi-opaque with a moderate tinting strength, it mixes well with other colors to make realistic skin tones. It’'s also a workhorse for making glazes for shadows, in landscapes and in other works depicting the natural world. Color is made with finely ground pigment and has an ASTM lightfast rating of 1-Excellent; Made in USA. Smooth, rich paint is highly pigmented and has superior tinting strength at a single student price. The non-metallic colors in the Academy Oil student line correlate to the Pre-tested professional line, allowing students to graduate to a professional grade paint with ease.

Incredible Sienna color for my Arts and Crafts projects

This paint is exactly what I NEEDED for my arts and crafts projects! The Sienna shade is rich and bold creating a stunning effect on my canvas .The paint has a smooth consistency and is easy to work with, making it perfect for beginners and for those who are more experienced. The only downside is that the tube is quite small, so if you're using it frequently, you may need to restock sooner rather than later..

Pros
  • Rich and bold color, smooth consistency.
Cons
  • Small tube size.

The best oil painters.

I think Grumbacher makes and always has the best artists' oils on the market. I've been using it for many years and have always been pleased with the consistent quality, although the cost has increased significantly over the years.

Pros
  • Arts and Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Doubtful Purchase for Seniors
