Perfect for seasoning on the go!

Ideal for backpackers. They go great with a kettle or a camping stove. But that's not why I bought it. I work with a bunch of thieving bastards. They think everything in my vault is in the public domain. So when I'm at work, when I want to season/salt my lunch/dinner. I went to my storage basket and my salt packets and other things disappeared. I'm so sick of people taking everything I bought and keeping it in my bag. Now I just sit and laugh while everyone complains that they run out of spices

Pros
  • is also understandable for the old updates

A bottle of stevia to go! The best solution so far!

I've been looking for something to wear with Stevia for a long time. In desperation, I decided to try these. Although I didn't need 3, it was more economical. I switched to stevia many years ago and have tried many different bottles. I found a campsite that worked well but was very small. It's been a hit so far. I know it really is made for condiments and the shaker lid isn't perfect, but it works for what I need. It holds a lot and is portable enough to fit in my purse. I highly recommend…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Great trail idea

Great little shakers. Just what you need on the trail when you want a little more food and comfort. They are made of high quality plastic, durable and well thought out down to the smallest detail. The two different sides are slightly different in depth for some reason. I don't know why but they work. They have two sizes of holes on the top for salt/pepper and condiments like flaky herbs. I love her. Tiny little things with great convenience benefits. It seems they will stay for life. Now, when…

Great spice rack for on the go

Love it! Food allergies sometimes prevent me from eating out or on the go, in some places I've only been left with steamed rice. It was so convenient to take the spices with you or to take when traveling. I didn't even notice when examining that there are a few sides with larger holes and some with smaller ones. I can take nutritional yeast and even red pepper flakes with me. Ideal for those who eat plant-based foods. The only issue they could improve is the little rubber seal, if it was more…

  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Hard to say

ANOTHER GSI QUALITY PRODUCT!

Another great GSI product! Virtually explosion-proof, these spice containers do exactly what you need in harsh outdoor conditions. You can drop them, sit on them, or do any other Murphy's Law expectation, and they pass the test 90% of the time. If you use condiments for all your meals, make sure you refill after each trip as my seasonal salt lasts about 5 days before it runs out. This is not a problem, just a warning. I found the rubber holder to be more of a hindrance than a help as I have an…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Available in white only

At first I thought they were a bit overpriced at over $12 but in the end it was worth it as they fit the bill and the quality is there. the pair is not split 50/50 internally. Closer to 40/60%. What I mean is that although each bottle has 2 sides, one side has a slightly larger capacity than the other. It surprised me, but I don't see it as a bad thing. I *REALLY* want to bring more salt than pepper. I want to use more sugar than Tony Creole. I want more garlic salt than cinnamon. At least…

Pros
  • I keep my fists
Cons
  • No insurance

Expensive and hard, but somehow still worth it.

After thinking a lot about camping/backpacking cooking over the past year, I finally settled on a set of six spices for my standard set (no salt or sugar): Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Cayenne Pepper, Monosodium Glutamate (yes, monosodium glutamate), citric acid and ginger. I started first with a small condiment from the grocery store that weighed about 2 fl oz each. As it turns out, they weigh quite a bit when full. So I decided to reserve this set for group camping and ordered several Nalgene
