The pressure on it must be incredible. I say must because I can't get a good enough grip on the thing to fully close the very tight lid. The lid is 90% closed and doesn't leak, but I definitely don't think it's 90% closed so it doesn't leak in the bag.

I like the fact that it's wide enough to fit my hands and a sponge. I don't really like using these brushes. This keeps tea or coffee hot for a long time. I'm only giving one star less because it's too bulky for me. And the lid creaks like crazy every time I open and close it!

I'm using this for iced coffee at the moment. I can drink it for hours and it stays cold. When autumn comes I will use it for hot coffee. It fits perfectly in my car cup holder and I don't have to worry about spilling anything. I was looking for one that was easy to clean and put on this thermos.

We just got through 2 of the coldest weeks of Wisconsin winter and my husband, who has to sit in a truck all day at work, says this is the best coffee mug he's ever made. He is an avid fan of THERMOS products and was not disappointed. It fits perfectly in our 1-cup automatic pod coffee maker and keeps it hot for over 4 hours.

I love this mug! It keeps drinks hot for hours and meets the spill-proof requirement. The downside of such an efficient mug is that the lid seals are a bit fiddly to remove and clean, and easily soiled by the black coffee I drink. Be sure to rinse it thoroughly, as the detergent tends to linger in small crevices in the lid and then seep into your coffee.

Was looking for something to keep cold water on bedside table at night. I have a 36 ounce thermos that keeps water ice cold for 16 hours and then heats up WITHOUT ice. Found this simple vacuum mug and bought it with my large thermos in mind. Extremely disappointed. This jar contains everything but the essentials. I bought this mug because I needed something to keep my coffee warm when I go to school instead of paper. The cups are just dirty and a shame to be honest. The great thing about this mug is that it keeps my hot coffee hot for a very long time. When I'm done it's still warm, but not normally warm, more on the hot side of warm, for example if there was a spectrum it would be between center (warm) and right (warm) and I usually finish it about an hour and a half after I put the hot coffee on.
