Great collars! They are very durable and can withstand rough play. Although it should be said that martingale collars should be removed when not needed, such as when playing indoors. And they should be loose enough that you can slip your finger between the collar and your dog's neck. So they are free when the dog is not pulling. But they are great for puppies. I was a huge fan of martingale collars before I bought this as a gift. I find them to be excellent tutorials for softfixes. My local shelter uses them on all of their dogs from Chihuahuas to Pitties to Rottweilers and after they are properly trained or even trained on the basics (haha) there is always a significant improvement in behavior and walking.
