The best collar design.

I like martingale collars because they provide more security, especially with my dogs who like to twist their heads out of the collars, but the collar can hang loose when not in use. Unlike traditional slip-on collars, there is a small risk of choking if the collar gets caught on something. I have switched two of my three dogs to this collar and have been very pleased.

Releases easily after it stops pulling

I bought this for my pup to teach him to walk on a leash and it worked really well. Slid back slightly after she stopped pulling. Wouldn't recommend leaving it on all day as there is no buckle to securely undo it, you have to pull it over your head. But it continued until she outgrew him and was still working for the future pup. The pink color was bright and beautiful.

Nylon Collar Guardian Gear Martingale

I bought this collar because my dogs keep breaking plastic buckle collars and one of my dogs has a thin head that pulls out of most collars. This collar works great, she can't break free as long as you hold her by the loop (I haven't tried this with a leash but since the leash attaches to the loop it should work the same way). The collars are strong yet soft and the colors are beautiful. Delivery times were as expected and I would buy this item again.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Great collars! They are very durable and can withstand rough play. Although it should be said that martingale collars should be removed when not needed, such as when playing indoors. And they should be loose enough that you can slip your finger between the collar and your dog's neck. So they are free when the dog is not pulling. But they are great for puppies. Especially when dogs are learning to walk on a leash, they often try to free themselves from the collar. This happens all the time with…

Love it! â Collars, Harnesses & Leashes

I was a huge fan of martingale collars before I bought this as a gift. I find them to be excellent tutorials for softfixes. My local shelter uses them on all of their dogs from Chihuahuas to Pitties to Rottweilers and after they are properly trained or even trained on the basics (haha) there is always a significant improvement in behavior and walking. I wouldn't let my dog in the dog park or at play! Surprisingly, I've never seen martingale training collars for sale at my local petco store. I…
