I was a huge fan of martingale collars before I bought this as a gift. I find them to be excellent tutorials for softfixes. My local shelter uses them on all of their dogs from Chihuahuas to Pitties to Rottweilers and after they are properly trained or even trained on the basics (haha) there is always a significant improvement in behavior and walking. I wouldn't let my dog in the dog park or at play! Surprisingly, I've never seen martingale training collars for sale at my local petco store. I ordered this collar in pink/carmine. It was a bright rich color and looked so cute on my best friends corgis. She is a VERY stubborn dog and this has helped improve her behavior on walks although she still goes mad at times regardless of the collar. (Corgi dude. They're crazy) That's a great collar and when I have my own dog soon I'll be buying this again!
