Works as expected if it had a water desalination filter to remove scale. My hills had one, but the filter is no longer available. The manufacturer should investigate the use of these filters that are available for pet drinking fountains.

The product was purchased for night use during the heating period. Although the product produces enough vapor - enough for a large bedroom - it fails after a short period of use. The device will still turn on and appear to work, but will not produce any vapor. Very disappointing.

We use it in the bedroom so noise was of paramount importance. We replace the old cold mist humidifier. I was surprised at how quiet the new one is. It's not fancy, just a fog volume control, but it's what I want. No heater or timer, I don't even use a scented oil pad. Very happy.

Almost no fog. My small plant humidifier, which holds like a liter of water, produces twice as much mist. Send back. I got this because the smaller one didn't quite get rid of my dry sinuses and bloody noses, but it helped. This creates a pathetic amount of fog. I bet it will take 2 days to use up 2 gallons. I'm in New Mexico and need a higher fog output because it's dry here.
