The tips of the steel handles should be slightly wider and there should be a ledge/tab on the tip to keep the phone from slipping out. I have a Samsung Note10+ with an Otter case and no matter how tight I put it on. The phone is still not fully protected.

Much better than the plastic parts that attach to the steering wheel. I mounted it directly on the stem without an additional clamp. It holds my iPhone 6s (I have a leather case) very securely and fits snugly around the leg, which I particularly like.

This is a good mount for your phone when cycling. It stays in place throughout the journey. The only issue I've found is that depending on your racing wheel or bars in general, taking photos while cycling can lock your phone. I use it to film my rides but it's great for keeping the phone perfectly in place. The dark border in the image below is my drag bar.

I used this on my 4500 mile bike ride across the USA and it was great the whole time. I've had a couple of accidents where I didn't tighten my phone tight enough, but that's my fault. It held up very well throughout the ride and is still mounted on my touring bike after the ride. I have now bought three of these to use on the various bikes I have and if I ever need another this is where I will go.

I bought this particular model because it was the only all metal model I could find. Super strong and durable. I also found the price justified and very reasonable for what you get. I use this mount for my iPhone Xs Max and have had no trouble holding my phone for the past year. I also purchased separate rubber/silicone straps ($6) that attach to the mount and wrap around the corners of my phone to better secure the phone.

Extremely low profile with direct attachment to the stem. The machined parts are very durable. This will take a long time. Holds tight with a decent case. The only thing that bothers me is that the screw clamp doesn't inspire confidence, it never came loose but still prompted me to check. Also, the protrusions that grip the device don't have factory pads, so without a case damage can occur over time (rubber pads are included that fall off quickly so you can attach them yourself).

I rode a bike long before there were cell phones. I have bought several phone holders and nothing compares to them. It holds my iPhone 8 perfectly with a medium sized case. I've driven it about 2,500 miles and the phone has never been dropped. I bought one for my girlfriend and she has a larger iPhone with her but has only driven it a few hundred miles.
