Great for a week, then the USB ports died.

I was glad to get a QC 3.0 socket and upgrading the house with these things is always a fun Saturday project. Installation went well, but it would have been even better if this unit had push-in terminals instead of electrical caps. In flat boxes, every little thing helps! Within a week our devices were charging fast and everything seemed great. I checked my iPad tonight which started charging at 0% and should be fully charged but it said 77% and wouldn't charge. Easy to install, thin socket, USB charging does not work as expected.

First of all, I have never exchanged a socket, I have no experience as an electrician. I bought one of these to see how easy it was to install. Installed it was very easy. Also smaller than the other two USB sockets I tried. That's good because there were a lot of extra cords in my outlet. I was very happy with them and ordered 20 more to upgrade most of the outlets in my house. Unfortunately, I found that the USB ports are not working properly. Pretty disappointing.

What I like about this socket is that it's not too thick. This makes the installation a little easier. Unfortunately there are many more things I don't like about this outlet hence the 2 star rating. I don't like the fact that the hot and neutral wire has to be twisted with another hot and neutral wire. There is no way to screw or plug it in like other sockets.
